Tips to properly measuring your kitchen
Measuring your kitchen precisely is the most important detail in creating a dream kitchen without mistakes. Follow the below tips to create an accurate detailed layout.
decide what shape your kitchen is

sketch out the shape of your kitchen
using your measuring tape start in the corner of the room and measure to the end of the wall or any obstruction such as doors or windows
notate the location of all windows by measuring to the outside frame to outside frame
notate centerline location of your plumbing/sink
notate centerline of appliances such as your range or oven
notate ceiling height
notate location of outlets and or switches
By now you should have detailed measurements, that will allow the designer to create a proper layout like the following design.
